CHILD’S PLAY

We asked participants in our Great Big Dialect Hunt to embrace their inner child and tell us about the words they use to describe playtime activities. A variety of words were shared for various playtime-related activities. Those used for taking a break from play, sustaining bumps and bruises along the way, and failing to turn up to school are shared here.
